Featuring nods to classic holiday stories, winter celebrations, and magical light performances that can only be experienced in 80K resolution animations, Winterland is a polar getaway bursting with holiday spirit. 

Winterland transforms the Illuminarium venue into a paradise built from nostalgia, drawing from childhood memories and favorite holiday traditions to form new stories. Families with children are given complimentary coloring books before entering The Palace: an ornate, paper-carved salon filled with a series of window scenes, each evoking a special holiday memory. Doors open into an incredible & vast mountainous landscape, with snowy villages lighting up in the distance, and mighty evergreen forests casting shadows on the twinkling snow.

At any point in time, Winterland can surprise with magic. Guests leave footsteps in the snow as powdery snowfall envelopes the room. As night sets in, the ice glows with pathways leading to close-up encounters with magical tree portals. Glowing fireflies follow each guest’s path and send lights into the forest to welcome the Animals of the Arctic. Turn at just the right corner and discover a baby polar bear playing hide and seek with his mother, or a swooping owl forming lights in the sky with his friends. In an epic finale, the Northern Lights shine overhead and invite lights to dance around the room alongside original music sung by the Atlanta Young Singers Choir. At Winterland, the magic of the season is stirred to life with the presence & community that every visitor brings.
